Found a favourite Math activity that you would like to share?
Let's face it, teaching is a demanding profession. Once content knowledge, classroom management, accommodations, modifications, assessment and evaluation, support structures, and differentiated instruction are all under control - there is always technology, growing and constantly evolving. Some sites now offer over 17 000 lessons and activities for our students. Who has time to search through all those lessons?
For those of you further along the technological continuum, there may be a few links sitting under your "favourites" that you continue to use due to their effectiveness in your classrooms. Most likely, one of your colleagues may have the same activity bookmarked through their timely searching process while still; some are beginning to search for such an activity. Why not share our goldmines? After all, it is our students who will benefit most!
Many teachers have expressed an interest in using technology and eResources but admit that time constraints make surfing difficult.
Our goal is to produce a bank of effective eResources whereby our teachers would have access to great lessons discovered by you!
Below are email links of all Math courses offered within DPCDSB. If you would like to share an eResource, please click on the appropriate link below and send a link to that activity. Please do not attach files, only links. Just imagine if each of our 4000 teachers added just one link every year!
On behalf of all of our students and teachers we would like to thank you in advance for your time, expertise and effort on all your contributions.
